A reporter asked 19-year-old Bryce Harper, whose Nationals are playing in Toronto this week, if he’d get a (legal in Canada) celebratory beer after the game. The above is what Harper replied. He’s easily, easily my favorite baseball player.
I propose that we all get to use “That’s a clown question, bro” once each on the podcast and no more. Otherwise it’s just going to be out of control. This way it involves some strategy.
I’ve been trolling for Harper since watching him play here in Harrisburg. The only thing I hate about him is that he’s not on our Mets.
I don’t know if I’d like him on the Mets. I like the detachment I feel.
