Mets 100 RBI Seasons

The Mets have had 14 players drive in 100 or more runs in a season — though it took them until 1975 for Rusty Staub to do it first. David Wright has done it the most time, five, including his 100 RBI this season. Carlos Beltran and Darryl Strawberry are tied for second place with three seasons of 100 RBI each . . . Bernard Gilkey had a ridiculous 1996, didn’t he?

I know RBI don’t have much meaning and cause players to be overrated, but I still find these things interesting:
