Hey, the Mets are at .500 Again

With last night’s win, the Mets are back at .500, 3.5 games out for the wild card (3 back in the loss column). There are five teams ahead of them, some expected (Atlanta, Cincinnati) and some surprising (Pittsburgh! Arizona?).

Also worth noting: The Mets have 94 games left to play this year. So there’s a lot of baseball left.

  1. Sadly your noting that the Mets have 94 games left got me thinking of only one thing, and that’s a 7 game lead with 17 to play. Some math later I’ve determined that if the Mets had a 39 game lead in the division right now I’d still be worried.

  2. If it’s all the same to you, I’m going to “live in the now.” 🙂
